We’re onto the final push before the end of the

We’re onto the final push before the end of the year, so here’s all the information you need to know about our lead times and cut-off dates before the end of 2024 🗓️

LEAD TIMES:
• In-Home Planning / Consultations: 3 weeks (earliest appointments from mid October onwards) 👨🏻‍💻

• Installation: 8 weeks (earliest installations from late November onwards) 🪛

CHRISTMAS CUT-OFF:
• To guarantee that your kitchen cabinets are assembled and installed before Christmas 2024, the last possible week LWDA can commence the installation will be December 9th - 13th.

• IMPORTANT: If your project includes custom-made benchtops (stone, laminate, plywood, stainless steel, etc), it is EXTREMELY likely that you will be waiting till after the New Year for the delivery and/or installation of your benchtops, as many fabricators (including IKEA’s preferred stonemason) have cut-off dates in early-mid November to guarantee installation of the benchtops before their shut down period over the holidays. This can mean that you will not have a functioning kitchen over the holiday period. For clients in the early stages of planning that wish to install custom-made benchtop materials, we would suggest considering beginning your installation in January 2025.

• LWDA will be closed from December 20th - January 13th (more information on our closure period to be announced closer to the end of the year).

Another day, and another install.

Completed today, this Brunswick based project is another great example of how @ikea_australia METOD kitchen range is ideal for small inter city appartments. With the help from @bprelectrical and @bromerplumbing we were able to remove the old and install the new.

Easy, Breezy, Beautiful Little Laundry 🧺 🫧

A cheeky little work in progress the team installed yesterday for an ongoing renovation for our client Roisin 🔨🪛

Being part of the main bathroom for the property, this laundry has to do a bit of everything storage wise, whilst also being practical for everyday bathroom usage and the much maligned task of washing 🧺😪

We love the neutral palette chosen, with @ren__studio Timberline finishes selected for the @ikea_australia METOD cabinets, with a clean and simple white laminate worktop and composite quartz sink to complete the neutral white-on-white look. Can’t wait to see the finished result once the splashback has been installed! 🙌🏻

Last week we had the pleasure of revisiting a project we completed installation of back in March for the wonderful team at @carmanskitchen ! 🐝

This monster of a project consisted of six individual island benches, two sinks, two dishwashers, two fridges and so many high cabinets you could sink a ship with them 🌊🚢💥

It’s great to see the commercial application of @ikea_australia METOD cabinets used in such a practical and beautiful way. A massive thanks to @carmanskitchen for allowing us to pop back and take a look at the finished result! What a massive change from a stock storage and quality control room! 🥹

Today’s install consisting of @ikea_australia ENKOPING fronts has transformed this South Yarra apartment into a new home.

Planned by our very own In Home Planner, installed by the LWDA team and electrical work completed by @bprelectrical we have managed to not only work around a tricky existing fire place, but introduce plenty of practical space and storage to this small space.

• Appointments are 2hrs long and conducted at your property. You will need to be available for the full duration of this appointment.
• The appointment will be for the measuring, planning and designing of IKEA METOD kitchen cabinetry only.

• The free in-home planning appointment will include the full measure, design and planning of one room. Any additional rooms will be charged at $49.00 per room.
• Following your free in-home planning appointment, you will be provided: 1). Your IKEA METOD plans both digitally and in PDF form via email. 2). Personalised information and advice specific for your project via email. 3). A quotation for the installation of your new IKEA METOD kitchen via email. Allow 3-5 business days following your appointment for this.
• The free in-home planning service will not include ongoing design alterations for your IKEA METOD plans.
